There are excellent guide books on sale at local newsagents with detailed routes and maps. Use this list to get you started but please be aware that changes in the weather can happen quickly and tides can race up the most peaceful looking beach. Always read warning signs and be alert if you are far from home. Wander and enjoy....

GOLF NEAR RHOSNEIGR

Players are passionate about the game, holidays can be made and ruined by it. Though some say “its a good walk spoilt”. We won’t comment on whether we think Anglesey golfers are spoilt but whatever your level there is something for you. Try some of the courses and clubs and see what you think. Most do club hire and all do tuition.

BEACHES AROUND RHOSNEIGR
Anglesey is surrounded by beaches! Everyone has their favourite beaches for -
walking
wind surfing
bird watching
kids
peace or solitude
sport
picnics

Borth Wen, Rhoscolyn one of the beaches here it is a long sheltered and sandy, backed by dunes. There is a car park with toilets and also check out nearby Trearddur Bay a bustling little town with a variety of coves and beaches.

Porth Trecastell/Cable Bay, Llanfaelog a sandy beach with rock pools to explore surrounded by cliffs. Big waves! There is a car park above the bay.

WATERSPORTS
On, under or beside the water - opportunities on Anglesey are limitless. Our tip though is to keep yourself safe - sea, tides and changeable weather can all present dangers to the unwary. Always ask if you are unsure, wear life jackets on boats and keep a careful eye on children. Tide tables are available in lots of local outlets and read warning signs on beaches and slipways.
